I went to lunch Saturday with Col Nicolle and his son. While we enjoyed a couple of cold beers, he sent his son to the car to retrieve a package. The package had my handle on it. He asked me to open it and here is what I found. Thank you Col Nicolle and my greatest thanks to HG.

It's a pretty cool feeling to get a Shiller Axe. Mine is not on the wall in my office. It's proudly hanging on the side of my '43 Ford GPW. It has mud on it. And some day may save my Axe and chop me to freedom. I hope this doesn't irritate Scott, but hey, I use my Jeeps too. a fellow asked me why was i driving such a rare jeep out on the trails. I simply said if you put it in a dark garage and never use it, who are you saving it for? The other cool thing is it's inscription is only viewable on a WW2 Jeep which has tool indents on the drivers side. Must be the way it was planned. Oilly
