This is a TEST of the emergency broadcast system, this is only a TEST. RCMP are monotoring all transmission between Lumby BC and HG for possible leakage (Not Oilly) of sensitive info. This may possibly explain the lack of credible info concerning the Lumby expedition. For more info access the Octal mode X98 and mention you're from the home planet. We now return you to regularly scheduled programming.

OK, we have that over with, here's today, day 5!! All you get today is the groupy that the Viking was whining about, but you will recognize Sir Leaker and I!! Leaker here. I don't know if you realize that when you leave the country, you will get a off line notice on your cell phone with Verizon wireless. Then a data warning about increased cost for roaming charges. The solution is to buy a burner phone to make calls with that have approved minutes and amounts. If you don't do this and get into roaming costs, you can get bills of 1500.00 !!!!!!!! So, I've shut off my phone and only turn it on to take pictures. Muley is going to see these as soon as I'm back into the states. Then you will get a eye full of stuff. This "area" of Chuckies is ALL Mountains and Streams. It never ends. Huge. Anyway, a pleasant experience. I'll fill you in. Bugsey is loving his vacation. Camp Binthere is located right in the middle of the Canadian Rockies. Like a extension of Glacier National Park. I want all of you to know we miss you so bad-----------we drink HBR's every night.

There is one thing you have to know Sir Leemeister!! You guy's sent all your Sierra club members up here and guess what!! We are not allowed to cross a creek!! They all have culverts or bridges to protect the WATER! That said, we did cross several creeks today, but hardly over the top of your boots. Day 6 and like I said, no real photo shots, but here is the lunch stop HLC!! (high level conference)

And, after 8 days of jeepin, it's time to say a huge thank you to my friends who helped me get all the runs set up, and also to everyone who showed up for some or all of the trail rides!! If everyone enjoyed the week as much as I did, it was a success!! The weather was good to us by keeping the temperature bearable, and the dust down, and clear enough for great views!! In 8 days of jeepin, we covered a triple nickel in miles, not Km's. Actually 554 miles by my odometer!! We were up and down like a brides pants, from 1588ft to a little over 6000ft, and the longest trail was just over 100miles, not km's!! That actually set's me up good, about 850 scouting and 555 jeepin!! Once again thanks to both sides for a wonderful week!! Chuck and Lynne

4 days of driving the haul rig to get home from camp Binthere. Unbelieveable mountains from Chuck's over to Banff. Crossed the Great Divide. Camped by glacier fed rivers. Fought huge lightning/Thunderstorms all the way to Conrad Montana. I think the boder guards profile of a grey haired guy, used Dodge pickup, old camper, and a cool WW2 Jeep was "hey, he ain't one of the bad guys". They asked a few simple questions, looked at the passports, and said have a nice day. The AM temps while there ranged from 45- 54 degrees. I actually ran my camper furnace before coffee. I had one of the best times of my life up there. Chuck and Lynne treated us like family. The Boy's did a fantastic job of trail research for us. I mean weeks of driving. We actually went out 8 straight days of Jeep trail driving. Bugsey and I are tired pups. I now avoid all large metropolitan areas with the haul rig. Stopping every block for 10 miles sucks pretty big. They all are in a rush to get nowhere. Anyway, if you like large trees of all kinds, and I mean NW Conifer Forests--------this is the place. I learned much about Canada, and the great folks that live there. They are welcome at my home anytime Eh! Lots of Eh up there. I sent muley some pictures, but posting isn't my gig. All I can say is many, many thanks to my hosts!!!! Oilly
