No pics really to post. I have been patching spots I don't like with filler and sanding, sanding, sanding , and more sanding. Just when I think I got it I don't. Thinking of bringing the seats down from the attic. Have some holes to drill it seems.

I am bringing down the seats stored in the attic. I am setting them to fit and drill the necessary holes to install them in the tub.

For the past couple of nights, I have fabricated these parts. The two small square pieces are cut from the remnants of the steel Sir Hawkridge sent me for the front tub cowl supports. Waste not want not. Any idea on what these parts are for?

Hmmm...
Not standard issue, so they have to be for something you're adding. I'm going with the Leaker. Gas can support...spare tire support...water can support?

Fabricated myself. The large spare carrier bracket is made from a flat plate and angle iron on the side. I used the spacers provided to me from East Coast Willys Association, per Kyle Buchter. The small square braces for the back of the Jerry Water Can are remnants of the steel Sir Hawkridge provided me with for the front supports, Here are the finished pics.

Sir Hawridge has an ammo can holder between his front seats. I admired it. I wanted to do an arm rest. I made an angle bracket to hold it square. Double stacked ammo cans as it should be for height. This is the rough in. I have some plans.

Is that primer!, before you paint you need to cut the hole for the fuel line under the gas tank!........ What is the status on the fuel tank ?........ What's the status on the green paint ?....... You do not need an armrest, you crack your elbow on the corner of that ammo box and you'll swear like Mooooseys bride at a pallet auction!....... Less accessories and more Paint!

I'm going to add a OD canvas pad on the top.
The fuel line holes are there.
All accessory holes must be drilled before final prep and paint.
Geeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzz

HG, Just a thought... Before mounting your arm rest, you may want to mount your driver seat, sit in it and adjust the position accordingly. My fear was realized based on what Lee mentioned. When driving the trails of Colorado, your arms are moving/flailing around quite a bit. No power steering results in both arms on the wheel which may be impeded if the arm rest is in the way. You might slam your elbow into it. It may also affect you access to shifting etc.
It's a cool idea, but it may be more cumbersome than you think.

Good points. I am going to be mounting it with brass wing nuts. It will be removable or interchangeable. I will make a single for the spot as well. Still trying to come up with an idea for a Jerry Can Cooler as well.
