Muley is getting his lady's shoulder fixed today. Hope all goes smooth a clean for you! Those mules are more dangerous than a Harley. Mules kick back much harder than a kick starter. But, they will throw you on the ground. When your body is out there in the wind and it contacts a hard surface, things happen. Best wishes today!!! Oilly

Thx for the well wishes ya bunch'o monkeys. Annie's home and feels good but sleepy. Scapula is now reconnected to Clavicle. That alignment puts all the torn ligaments where they need to be for them to fuse together. I've got a pile of orders from the Doc and I'm supost'a enforce 'em. Shit! Annie loves Checkers the mule as much now as before the wreck- it's in her DNA. Checkers is the red youngster in the back, In front is my best good saddle mule Emmy Lou. Attachments:

Since the "wreck" the farm chores have gotten away from me. Weeds up to my arse, spring fence mending not started and so on. The cavalry came to the rescue yesterday, my young pal Warren, 17YO, showed up yesterday and spent the afternoon on the mower, pullin weeds and general picking up. Naturally we had to take the OD Mule to the hdwe store for ya know parts and stuff. What's next Boss? he'd say and would jump on the next task. Eagled in scouting at age 15, GED'd early out of high school last year and is enrolled in college. Outstanding young man. Lost his stepbrother in Fallujah in '07, comes from a military family, most likely he'll be career military himself. He's going with me again this year to the IMVPA spring meet. |

Yesterday's post-op check and x-ray show only 1 cm displacement which is about as perfect as you can get after a wreck like that. All alignments are good. 4 more weeks in the sling with light PT, then 8 more weeks of progressively more difficult PT. We're comin along as planned..
