Mooooosey, what's that kraut grinder parked behind the cool wheeled Jeep, I wouldn't allow that &@$! in my driveway!. That way he doesn't stand out while he's waiting for his latte in the drive thru! On second thought......it could be worse....

Kraut grinder? Sounds like some kind of sandwich. No worries...that kraut grinder has towed home many a jeeps in its day. However, it no longer lives here. I gave it away.
HG...so you pulled off the leaf spring hangar and no number??

Although the staff car is gone, we do have the people's car: VW.

Schiller, looks like we have some of the same parts needs for our trailers, hell maybe Moosey too. I want to fab some of them like the taillight brackets, etc. that is /IF I put all that extra weight on Dopey. I mean, why else do you think I liquidated those heavy-ass handles?!

Slightly off topic but I got blown out of the proverbial eBay water on a lunette last night. I was in it for over $260 with shipping and still lost....

I saw some advertised between $400-450 on eBay the other day. Good grief!

Funny thing.... I never went bonkers over a Lunette . Don't get me wrong, they are really cool. Good thing I'm not, I can't afford that stuff. I will be in the lookout however.

The huge difference is that you have a ball hitch; I have a Pintle hook. I'm not putting a "big boy" on my military jeep.

I chopped off one of the extra lunettes on the corners of my trailer and sold it ... MAN, I should have asked for way more!

Cool trailer, but yet another tactic to delay the real task at hand. You could have been wiring your Willis. I fully agree. I believe I've just found myself in "Full Boycott Mode". I won't ask others to join me at this point, but if I don't quickly get the sense that things are moving forward on the Willys, the gloves will be coming off. The Hawk has spoken. Damn.... He really must be pissed! Hasn't logged in, in over a week! Wow! Guy buys a trailer, Hawkster gets pissed. Boycotts me.

2.5 years with a full service shop. You must be commited! Sick. Crazy. And have done several previously to know your way around a Jeep. However, the Jeep's as found condition can add or subtract to that time spent on body work. Waiting for funds to buy needed things also. If you are retired or working a full time job, another factor. Then how many phases of trial and error to get all the bugs/leaks,failures ironed out. I'm still ironing on Herm as we speak. Getting there though. Go get em Haines! Take your wife with you on test drives. They need to bond with the Jeep also. If they enjoy the Jeep, they will let you have another. If they hate it, you are in big trouble. If your son or daughter like it, then the wife will have to grin and bear it. Leverage.

Finish that paint job (or get somewhat close to it) and you'll meet Craigslist's criteria for a "Fully Restored" Bantam!!!

He's still pissed about you shanghaiing his goat, so OF COURSE he's gonna tell you that! (PS keep the rims, them's those ultra-rare, hard to find "combat rim, special lightweight, trailer (CRSLT)" model!)
See what I did there!?
