There are 2 recent new members, Travis and Gain. C'mon fellas time to make yourselves known. Wear thick skin and lay down your best line of BS. It's all fun here. Lots of laffs and a ton of Jeep info. We may poke fun at each other but when it gets rough we've got each others backs!
That said, make yourself known so the other knotheads on the forum can have someone new to pick on then maybe 'ol rickg can move up to FNG 1st class. My request is purely selfish..

Gain is a Fellow Jeep Guy in Arvada ,CO . It is too funny. He is a friend of mine on Facebook. I find it almost too strange that my Ole Friend, The Hawk lives in the same town. I now am the Jeep Match Maker! You Bastages Need To Have Coffee at best.

I like lattes. There. I said it. Gary..aka the Professor does, too. He won't admit it, though. He knows a lot about the Starbucks menu. Matter of fact, he taught me how to confidently order a Grande lowfat skinny vanilla latte with an extra pump.

Probably, but they mix it with marketing, and a mystic that make you Bastages crave that stuff. I like the Sumatra from the grocery store...That stuff is Bad assed!

Refresher Course for the new hands....... Never drank or seen Nabob Coffee, but I spent over 10 years in a Folger plant, so I can say the principle still applies Speaking of a Dairy Queen, a burger does sound good for lunch....

My idea of an exotic coffee is sitting on a loading dock, as the sun is coming up in Little Havana (Miami, FL) with the dockhands, who only speak Cuban Spanish, sipping on a very small cup of hot, thick Cuban espresso given to me by one of the hands. Qué dulce es! Talk about a wake up call!

Screw all that fancy stuff. Real coffee is made in a cast iron frying pan in a old trailer house out in the boondocks on a ranch. Put some well water in it. Throw in a handful of new coffee grounds and boil it on the propane stove. Take a rag and pick it up with two hands (it's heavy), walk over a pour a cup, grounds and all into your old stained green ceramic cup. As soon as it's cooled a little you strain it through your teeth. As to brands of coffee, I always thought Farmers Brothers Coffee that you can not buy in a store, is the best out there. Only restaurants can get it. Tastes quite good, and there is absolutely nothing else out there anyway. Just the wind, and long dusty roads. Oilly
