I was going to suggest some sort of pasty wash to make it look more muddy, but loose stones and grasses or scale palm fronds (a buddy of mine built a Corsair diagramme with two planes in a revetment for the VMF-214 reunion in Charlotte (I think) a few years back, so these are not my ideas but stolen from him)would really make it pop. I love that image of the Marsden matting all askew and not uniform too. You DO do great work -I'm a crap modeler, even worse than I am a jeeper LOL. I hate to even make it sound like this isn't already perfect, Norm is going to love it! Hand Salute Sir Zooke, your energy, talents and dedication seem endless!
