Just tell all that this one is quite rare, with the holes in the opposite corners. Adds 1000.00 to it's value. You also need a correct lunette to go along with them. Oil

It is quite rare, an Austrailian contract , the drains are opposite as the water spins the other way as it drains , so the position of the drains needs to match . I am very surprised Oilleaker did not notice that

Oil This one is pretty good, too, Gary. It certainly reads like a Craigslist ad! I'm going to jot this down...it will be useful one day.

I'll take a picture of it when I get off of work tonight. I've got a few that really don't tell much of the story on my phone I'll upload.
HG...the axle doesn't need any. There are just two bearings in the hub...inner and outer...like a jeep.

Had to do repairs on both drawbars There was a wad of bondo on the front panel of the tub. After removing it, I discovered where the brackets for the box had once been...which dates this tub to at least 1954 or earlier. I have removed the brackets from the POS tub and stuck them on here...along with one tie down bracket and the two rear handles.

I am very hesitant to post the next picture because Detard's trailer is SO MUCH better looking than mine. His is all square and perfect looking. Mine will always be a chariot fit to be pulled by goats. Here is the scrap pile of waste that remains in my wake... Besides the obvious of fully needing to paint it OD, I still have to repair the reflectors I have for it, mount the tail lights (I have a set of WW2 that I will use for now), mount the fenders (after OD) and then I am going to swap out some of the bolt hardware around the chains and lunette holder for some castellated nuts. The chains belong to the Ben Hur...however, it was a very common practice to swap them out so the larger trucks could tow the trailer. The Goat Coach is definitely a motorpool fixture. I have two lunettes to choose from. Its an amazing story how those came into my possession. The one mounted is the larger later M100/M416 size. The other is WW2...and I'm thinking NOS.

Good job Moosey! Still need to get your park brake on. Do tell how you got the Lunettes. Oil Yes...I totally forgot to mention that in my punch list. The lever is sitting on my workbench, looking as nasty as ever. The lunettes...does anyone want to take a guess at the one soul from this forum that came into possession of not one, but TWO lunettes and then GAVE them to me under one condition? Well...actually two conditions...the first one being that I cannot name him. Thou who shan't be named doesn't want his tough guy image tarnished.

By chance was the other condition that you give one to the other guy one this forum who badly needs one for his MB-T ??

Here's a funny I can share - when I bought my jeep the guy threw in a couple of boxes of spare parts. FOR YEARS I held on to them, and then decided to cull them out to save space. One of the things I chucked I identified (OH, because I know jack shite!) as a "modern-era handbrake" but I can shamefully admit it was an original MB-T brake handle. _doh_ So, LOL the laugh's on me ... "Dopey" has no brakes and is going to be the "economy" model trailer. Hell, he's already missing the handles which made him a minty sample of his studly breed! Again, _doh_

Earlier this week I painted the Coach OD. Detard was nice enough to drop a gallon of paint off at my house on Sunday...along with Dopey, his trailer. The catch was that I had to paint them both. They both were painted Monday and have sat in my garage until today. I pulled them out into the sunlight this morning and decided to go ahead and do coat #2. I hate painting. Nonetheless, I persevered. I gave them a light sanding, wiped them down, blew them with compressed air and commenced painting. Just before work, I went out to admire my handiwork. Damn, the Goat Coach looks REALLY good! A bird had shit in Detard's trailer.

Hey, it's broke in now. Use it. Oil If he doesn't come and get it soon, I'll use his "broke in" trailer to haul yard waste in. Maybe I'll chuck my scrap iron in it and take it to the recyclers, too! No Schiller...I'm not posting pictures. We've all seen these trailers before. They all look the same green. Maybe I'll change my mind if the antique vehicle thread is unlocked. A mad Professor is different than making the Orofessor mad.

Is that what that is, here I thought HG was making fun of me for being fat and eating all the time. BTW, I can only access that one on my I pad, as on the pc it goes away when I try to scroll down . But the rocket scientist from mt. Pleasant says I can't run a computer (true). Here is to him

I can't be a pirate though.....pirating's too much work... I'm Irish, everybody knows the Irish don't like work.. we just drink beer and eat sausage... Life is easier that way!
