Any improvement with your newly balanced flywheel and bolts? Aside from your recent Willys G3 Summit things have been pretty quiet out in Arvada.....

Probably another secret meeting, no no dinner with descendants of Mr. Willys. Finding out how they pronounce their name!

The Hawk Says it Willease..... You know this, that is why his flywheel has to be balanced, and so does his speech impediment!

It's the strangest thing. The Willys is all back together, but all of the sudden, the Carter won't idle...at all. I'm working through the issue at Scoutpilot's web site. I pulled the Carter off the 2A and stuck it on this one. Purrs and idles like a kitten, so something is wrong with the original carb. The frustrating thing is it worked perfectly prior to my flywheel woes. I'm beginning to think this entire 3A project is snake bit. Every time I solve one problem, another rears its ugly head.

Hawky, I have some parts carbs, send it up here and I'll play with it on my Jeep until it runs! Then haul your Jeep up in June and I'll put it back on for you! Oil

Leaker, I'm fully intending on coming your way this June. Unfortunately, this is right in the heart of our busy crazy season, so the decision will have to be definitive just weeks beforehand. One thing I noticed...I only found one solid reference on your decision to hold it the week starting June 22nd. Now I can't remember which site you mentioned that on.
I haven't given up on tracking down this carburetor goblin, but darn near. Scoutpilot is backed up. If I give up, and you have some extra time, would you be willing to crack it open and take a look?
